Navid Nuur

°1976, Tehran, Iran

Nuur describes his works with the term “interimodules”: these are the linking elements between thoughts and their materialization, they are modules for the way of thinking, the way to express a temporary intermediate condition of things. Nuur’s drawings, texts and installations are often transient works - they appear in-between the audience and an often, abstract phenomenon, such as light, energy, air, or ‘rest space’. Purely process-oriented conceptual semantics of Nuur’s creations must be interpreted intuitively – through the subjectivity of the momentum.
